A Primitive Glow was an idea that found me.  As I was traveling on a chilly January day from Canaan Valley, West Virginia back home to Charleston, with my dog Rusty,  a wonderful golden retriever, an idea formed in my mind of creating an atmosphere that would take people from the busy, hurried lives that we live to a much simpler place and time. 

I had just begun to make candles and I wanted them to be anything but,  like the others, so I set out to use home-style fragrances that would make us all think of simpler days.  The days spent at your Grandmothers making a pan of homemade cinnamon buns or fresh blueberry cobbler.  The Christmas Eve's decorating the fresh pine and making Christmas Cookies just for Santa.   

Along with the fragrances that will take you to a much simpler place & time our products will also serve as home decor items, that will give your home a touch of the past, when life was so much easier and not nearly as complicated.

So, sit back, grab yourself a cup of hot cider and spend a little time with A Primitive Glow, after all, isn't that what a candle is?
